Grade 7-12 Cross Country athletes need to fill out Minnesota State High School paperwork to eligible to participate in Cross Country. All paperwork can be picked up at the athletic office at Burnsville High School. All athletes need to also pay an activity fee. Once paperwork is filled out and fee paid, your child is eligible to begin formal practice. Formal practice starts Monday Augusts 11th @ 8:00 AM. We will meet in the parking lot by the football stadium. Please bring appropriate running shoes, water, and a watch with a chronograph and LOCK to lock up your valuables. |

Attend Captains SUMMER practices. Summer Practice Begin Monday June 9th and will go till the season officially begins. This is a no cost item and all can attend. Captains and athletes will meet each morning at 7:00 AM for workouts. Each athlete will run what is appropriate for their ability. Practice will last anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours. Locations will include the high school as well as some great parks in the metro area. |

Attend the Elementary summery camp June 9th to the 13th from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Nicollet Junior High. See community flyer to get more specific information. This is a great way for your child to get a flavor of the sport. |

Attend the Pre-season meeting on Tuesday June 3rd @ Burnsville High School, room A 151. Start times will be 2:30 for Grades 9-12 and 3:00 to 4:30 for athletes entering 6-8. There will be a coach present to give out information. If you cannot attend---contact ONE of the coaches listed below. |

An informational parent meeting will be held on Monday, June 2nd at 7:00 PM in room C180. It will be a great way for parents to find out more and ask any questions about the sport. |
